Home Remedies For Whooping Cough



Whooping cough or pertussis is an infectious disease. It commonly affects infants during the first year of life, and the children up to 5 years of age. The disease can cause serious complication in the lungs.



Here we list some home remedies for whooping cough

Garlic: Garlic is an effective home remedy for whooping cough.Take 5 drops of garlic syrup thrice a day. It works well for treating this condition.

Ginger: Ginger is another most effective home remedy for whooping cough.Take one tea spoon of fresh ginger juice, which is mixed with a cup of fenugreek decoction. Add honey to taste.

Radish: Prepare radish juice by mixing equal amount of honey into it and a little rock salt. Drink this juice thrice a day.

Almond Oil: 5 drops of almond oil should be mixed with 10 drops each of ginger juice and white onion juice. Take this thrice a day.

Calmus: A pinch of powder of the roasted herb should be given with a teaspoon of honey. It prevents severe bouts of coughing.
